The Midi New York se inspira en nuestro amor por esta ciudad fascinante, su energía, arquitectura y gente. Su silueta moderna y atemporal, junto con un acabado de lujo sutil, la convierten en el bolso perfecto para el día a día. El interior se cierra con seguridad mediante un imán central interno. Las cómodas asas tubulares se acomodan elegantemente en el pliegue del codo o pueden llevarse en la mano. La base está diseñada con pliegues triangulares a cada lado y reforzada con patas metálicas. I’ve admired DeMellier for years, from its craftsmanship to its values, so this collaboration felt like a natural step.

I chose The Midi New York as it’s one of its most timeless designs. It’s effortlessly chic and elegant, with a spacious interior that has become essential since becoming a mum. It strikes the perfect balance between practicality and beauty.

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR PERSONAL STYLE?
Minimal, timeless, and Scandinavian. I’m drawn to clean lines and simplicity. I love pieces that feel both classic and modern.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE WAY TO STYLE THE MIDI NEW YORK?
I love pairing it with a white T-shirt, classic blue jeans, and a blazer, but it’s just as versatile with a simple black dress. It’s one of those rare pieces that elevates any outfit, whatever the occasion.

IN WHAT WAY HAS YOUR BACKGROUND INFLUENCED YOUR PERSONAL STYLE?
Being Swedish has shaped a lot of how I see aesthetics. I naturally lean toward a minimal Scandinavian style, in both fashion and interiors. Simplicity, for me, brings a sense of calm and clarity.

WHAT'S YOUR FAVOURITE PLACE IN BARCELONA?
The Collserola area. I love hiking there. It’s where the mountains meet the city and, from the top, you can see the whole skyline. It’s a gorgeous reminder of why I chose to make Barcelona my home.


WHAT’S SOMETHING YOU’VE LEARNT THAT YOU HOPE TO PASS ALONG TO YOUR DAUGHTER?
To stay true to her own path and not let others define her journey. There is real strength in listening to your inner voice.

It means growing into the kind of woman I once admired: someone who walks her own path, confidently and without needing permission.

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE YOUR YOUNGER SELF?
Don’t be so hard on yourself. Trust your instincts and follow your dreams with courage and kindness.

WHO ARE THE WOMEN IN YOUR LIFE THAT INSPIRE YOU?
My daughter inspires me endlessly. She reminds me every single day of the power of presence and how meaningful the little moments truly are.
