Mireia chose to work with architect Nicolas Schuybroek and his studio, having long admired his residential work and the way he creates spaces that combine timeless minimalism with warmth. A shared appreciation for materiality, the store vision unites textures such as stone, timber, plaster and linen to form a tactile, home-like destination in which the collections live. The flagship unfolds as a series of uninhabited rooms, inviting visitors to explore the space as they would a home.
THE LIVING ROOM
Unfolding room by room, the journey begins on the ground floor in a space conceived as a living room, the heart of the home. Upholstered vintage chairs surround a coffee table, where collected objects sit alongside books celebrating female voices in art, architecture and photography, reflecting DeMellier’s commitment to empowering women. DeMellier bags find their place within niches, on shelves and amongst a curation of vintage and bespoke furniture from acclaimed designers and artisans, reflecting our considered approach to design, craftsmanship and longevity.
