Handcrafted with artisan skill, the Tokyo Saddle has a distinct rounded silhouette and features our iconic gold arrow lock. This elevated, contemporary day bag is made from beautifully smooth cowhide at one of our trusted factories in Europe - where time-honoured techniques are cherished and immaculate finishes guaranteed.
Exterior details: adjustable shoulder strap, gold arrow lock hardware, flat slip pocket on the reverse with leather covered snapper, gold foil embossed DeMellier logo.
Interior details: cotton-lined main compartment suitable for iPhone 14 Pro Max and daily essentials, cotton-lined zip pocket with leather puller.
Interior: Luxurious black lining made with 30% recycled cotton and 70% cotton, certified by the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI)

We use real leather of the highest quality, sourced exclusively from tanneries in Italy and complying with the highest EU regulations and standards. Our suppliers are certified by the European Leather Working Group, guaranteeing our exacting standards of sustainability and responsible sourcing.
This particular tannery specialises in printing reptile patterns onto cow leather, and have exclusively designed a smaller scale croc print for a more refined finish. They are committed to sustainable practices and produce all their leather in-house with an innovative process that reuses water from the tanning step - normally a highly intensive activity that requires significant amounts of water. Their energy is solely provided by 720 solar panels to align their sustainable goals throughout the entire supply chain. We are proud to work with a supplier that recognises the importantance of improving and investing in greener opertations.
All our handbags and leather goods are handcrafted with integrity by skilled artisans, using local techniques and traditions at one of our trusted family-run factories in Europe. We only work with partners who we know well and trust, who offer fair working conditions and a safe working environment for their workers.
Our packaging is made of partially recycled paper sourced from FSC accredited suppliers and natural cotton, thus fully recyclable.
