Made in northern Italy from leftover apple waste from the food and drink industry. A bio-based material using more than 40% apple waste, our vegan leather is made using leftover apple pulp and peel and is created by transforming the apple waste into a powder, using a natural air-drying process. Once processed, the powder is combined with other materials and laminated onto recycled cotton. By following this innovative process that is PETA approved as well as certified by BioPreferred and Global Recycled Standard, the result is a durable yet soft finish.
All our handbags are handcrafted with integrity by skilful artisans using local techniques and traditions in a family-owned factory in the South of Spain. We only work with partners who we know very well and trust, who offer fair working conditions and a safe working environment to their workers.
