Why did you choose The Large Siena Bucket as your Icon?
As someone who is always on the go, I need a bag that can carry everything and work for every part of my day, whether I’m heading to the airport, going to set or walking my dog in the city. The Large Siena Bucket really fits into my everyday life. I chose Burgundy because I love adding a pop of colour to my outfits, especially for fall. It feels a little more unexpected than classic black or brown, and paired with the Croc-Effect, it makes a statement while still feeling timeless.


What drew you to collaborating with DeMellier?
DeMellier’s dedication to ethical and sustainable craft, timeless style, and their all-female design team drew me to collaborate with them.


How would you describe your personal style?
My personal style is boho chic and comfortable.


Who are the women in your life that inspire you?
My mom and my sisters. I love them so much.


What traits do you associate with strong women?
Confidence and not being afraid to speak their minds. They know who they are, and they never compromise on that.


What advice would you give your younger self?
Don’t worry about what people think of you, some friends aren’t meant to stay with you forever, and don’t be afraid to speak your mind and ask for what you need.

What's one life lesson you’ve learned that no one could have prepared you for?
Nothing happens overnight. Things take time and dedication, and if you love what you do, all that hard work will pay off in the end.


What has given you the courage to start your own businesses and what have you learned as a founder?
Spending time in my industry and trusting everything I’ve learned along the way gave me the confidence to start my own business. Having my sister as my co-founder of Stone Fruit has also been invaluable; knowing I’m not doing it alone and being able to share ideas and create together makes it really fun. As a founder, I’ve learned that nothing happens overnight. Growth takes time and patience, and mistakes are inevitable. It’s learning from those mistakes that ultimately helps us grow and become successful.


What legacy do you hope to leave, and what change would you most like to see in the conversations around body image, mental health, and self-worth?
I hope to leave a legacy of positivity and kindness, both towards ourselves and others. The world could always use more of both. When it comes to body image, mental health and self-worth, so much is already changing for the better. It felt like these topics were rarely spoken about before, so the fact that we can now have open and honest conversations about them is huge. I hope to keep pushing that dialogue forward.
